Each year, we at Mount Dora Boating Center meet with100’s of people here in Orlando/Central Florida looking to buy a boat. 2. Dealer’s Choice Marine

Having been around for years, Dealer’s Choice began business in Orlando and specialize in family recreation and off-shore fishing boats.  They represent Chaparral and Robalo, two well respected products in the industry. At the time this article was written they ranked a 4.0 from 29 Google reviews and 2.5 with 3 Yelp reviews. Dealership has locations in Orlando and Daytona.  

3. Holiday Marine

 A single store dealer located in Leesburg.  Holiday has a large offering of brands specializing in family recreation and in-shore fishing.  They include Hurricane, Sweetwater, Ranger, Bayliner, Heyday and Stott Craft. Google has them ranked at 4.5 with 66 reviews. Yelp ranking is 3 stars after 2 reviews.

4. MarineMax  Orlando

Formerly Parker Boat Company, now part of the largest boat retailer in the U.S. Most popular lines in their Orlando store include Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Scout, Scarab Jet and Harris pontoon boats.  Most common boating activities in Central Florida are family recreation and fishing.  MarineMax brands cover all those bases.  Their Google ranking is 4.3 with 46 reviews.  There were no Yelp reviews or ranking. This dealership is MICD accredited.

5. Regal & Nautique of Orlando

Is another very well established, long serving dealership in Central Florida. As their name suggests Regal, Nautique and Moomba are the brands they represent.  They have a long history in tow water sport recreation specializing in wake surf and wake boarding craft.  Focus of this dealership is family recreation.  Google rates them at 4.8 with 55 reviews. They are 4.5 stars on Yelp with 6 reviews and also a MICD accredited dealership.

So there are 5 companies to consider if you’re shopping for a boat in Central Florida.  The common thread between all are the quality of the products they sell, long history of serving the market and in all but one, owned and operated by local families with deep roots in the boating community.
